The Arthur Smith Covered Bridge is a one span Burr Arch with a total length of 99 feet. The bridge is currently on dry land on the land of a farm near its original crossing of the North River, west of Colrain. The bridge is the second covered bridge at this location being built in 1951.

This bridge is easy to photograph unless the corn is high, the corn field comes within a few feet of this bridge on the south side.

The bridge is currently located on the edge of a corn field end of Lyonsville Road, May, 2003. Parking is available at the end of the road. Please respect the farmers property and crops, the bridge is probably being stored on his land.
